It has a diecast body, and the threads in the bottom are nice, no breaks or cracks as well. It has been taken apart, cleaned, armature shafts turned down to make the perfectly round again, the bushing plates have been bored, and bushings made to fit the armature shafts, and pressed into plates. It has been painted, and put back together, magnet charged, new springs, rollers, band, and decal added. It has been tested and is hot and ready to install on your engine project. The mounting bolt pattern on these is 2″ X 2″. We have been in the magneto, igniter and carburetor business for 40 years, and everything we do is guaranteed for 2 years. Here is a tough to find piece. This is a Wizard Magneto probably for a Worthington engine. The mag would work on others and the igniter might fit others like Alamo or R&V as well, I’m not 100% sure. The bolt holes are 3 1/2 inches center to center, so if that is what your engine is, it very likely will fit. This setup came from a magneto repair shop and has been completely gone through. New bushings in the mag. New points and the igniter rebuilt. Some new springs and other pieces. Even has the nice new braided wire. I tested it and got a spark out of it on the bench, so it should be ready to put on your engine. These are very hard to find mags and this would make a nice piece to complete your engine. This magneto will fit them all, 1 1/2, 3, and 6hp, but the gear that is on it is correct for the 1 1/2hp only. It has been rebuilt and never put on an engine, the mag has been sitting around a while so the paint isn’t perfect. Only missing the dust cover that screws to the crankcase, you can pick those up for next to nothing at all. Comes with a brand new cloth covered, SOLID copper wire which is period correct and very hard to find. Guaranteed nice and hot and ready to go! Produces a nice blue spark. Feel free to ask questions, you won’t be disappointed with this one.
