This is a NEAR MINT CONDITION restored 1933 Maytag model 92 hit and miss engine READY TO SHOW. Serial number: 508700 (August 1933) The engine runs very good and starts on first or second kick. It has very good compression and has a flawless bore with no carbon. The engine was COMPLETELY taken apart and SAND blasted to remove all dirt, rust, and corrosion. The carburetor/mixer was disassembled and thoroughly cleaned and rebuilt with some NEW parts. The engine was painted in the original Maytag green color. The coil and condenser are both in very good condition and produce a HOT blue spark. No obvious cracks or breaks. Comes with wood skids. The flywheel was polished, not painted. The engine has NEW decals and caution plate, new gaskets, new spark plug wire and shoe, and new kill switch assembly. Up for sale is a very nice restored Maytag Model 19, Antique hit miss Gas Engine. The flywheel has serial # 694548 stamped on it so it was in production Mar, 1936. Painted with original Maytag green automotive paint. The skids you see under my motors go with the engine. I have been restoring these engines for over 10 years. I also restore Maytag wringer washers and put Maytag motor’s on them as well. This engine was completely taken apart and SAND blasted BEAD blasted cleaned and painted the original Maytag green paint. I take a lot of pride in these motors as you can see and I like to do a little extra detailing such as the lettering and the numbers as you can see in the pictures. I think it makes the motor’s stand out better. The kick peddle will be removed for packing so you will need to put it back on. Lot of guys likes to copy my work so I have a trade mark that I can only tell that it is one that I had done. The kick gear has been welded and I dressed it up a little to make it look a little better. It is not uncommon for these to be broke off or repaired. As you can see this engine is complete and not missing any parts such as the pulley and air filter. It has new rings, condenser and spark plug and plug wire with new ends and new governor roller. I also honed out the Cylinder jug and carburetor is completely rebuilt with all new parts. This engine has been restored and freshly painted and the fuel tank and top plate was sealed so it will not rust again. I do not paint the flywheels like some people I just polish them up nice. After putting it all back together I ran three tanks of fuel through it and it runs just fine. I like to run my engines that much so I know it will run great and help seat the rings a little for you. Then I put on a set of real nice WATER TRANSFER DECAL that I had made and sell. NOT those NASTY sticky fly by night cheap decals. The coil is good and has hot nice spark. I have a lot of people will send me a motor to restore for them as well. All it needs now is fuel and you can start it with your hand, it is that easy to start. I use foam spray to pack the motor and it takes a lot. Please read below pictures. This washer is not part of this sale. I will start packing the engine and it takes about 5 days to pack it so the foam spray can dry a little. Thank you for looking. Nice older restoration Maytag early model 82 side exhaust antique stationary gas engine. Motor looks in very good condition considering it close to a hundred years old. Engine has spark but I have not ran it But should run with minimal work. No cracks or welds that I can see and looks like a very nice example. This engine predates the famous kick start models and are scarcer. Serial number is 202908. Please review pictures for what all is there and condition. 1919 Antique Monitor hit and miss engine, restored.. Uses a Model T coil, and 6 volt lantern battery, very easy to start, and runs great!! Does come with the nice Iron Wheel Cart… I believe its 5 1/2 horse, but not completely sure.. This was the old man’s escape back in time.. He got much satisfaction and relaxation tinkering around with this old jewel… It was well taken care of! Last I knew it ran perfectly and has been kept indoors out of weather and elements but has not been started since the early 2000′s. Located 20 mins east of Rochester in Williamson NY. Up for sale is a very nice Maytag Model 72 Antique hit miss Gas Engine. The flywheel has serial # 979197 stamped on it which was the last year in production 1942 until 1945. They did not make any motors during World War II. I have been restoring these engines for over 12 years now and I sell a lot of them. I also restore Maytag ringer washers and put Maytag motor’s on them as well. This engine and every engine I do is completely taken apart and sand blasted, bead blasted clean and painted with DuPont paint. I take a lot of pride in these motors. I don’t like the way they do things but I have no control of that. I have never seen anyone that say they have restored a Maytag engine that does not show the work that I do. But I put my own trade mark on my engines then I know it is on that I restored proper. It has new rings, condenser, spark plug wires with new ends, new spark plugs. I also honed out the Cylinder jugs. This engine has been restored and freshly painted and the tank and top plate was sealed so it will not rust again. I do not paint the flywheels like some people. I polish all my flywheels by had with no power. After putting it all back together I ran 2 tanks of fuel through it and it runs just fine. Detailing with the correct decals finished it. All it needs now is fuel and you can start it with your hand, it is that easy to start. It takes around five days to pack the motor so foam spray can set up. P>PLEASE READ BELOW THE PICTURES. The flywheel has serial # 261941 stamped on it so it was in production Jan -1 to March -11 – 1928. Painted with original Maytag green automotive paint. The skids you see under my motors go with the engine. I have been restoring these engines for over 10 years. I also restore Maytag wringer washers and put Maytag motor’s on them as well. This engine was completely taken apart and SAND blasted and BEAD blasted cleaned and painted the original Maytag green paint. This engine has been restored and freshly painted and the fuel tank and top plate was sealed so it will not rust again. I do not paint the flywheels like some people I just polish them up nice. The flywheel does have a little pitting on it which does not affect the running of the engine. Someone had drilled out the holes to 7/16 bolts on the exhaust where the flange bolts to. After putting it all back together I ran three tanks of fuel through it and it runs just fine. I like to run my engines that much so I know it will run great and help seat the rings a little for you. Then I put on a set of real nice WATER TRANSFER DECAL that I had made and sell. NOT those NASTY sticky fly by night cheap decals. The coil is good and has hot nice spark.
