Carburetor was cleaned with new air valve and seat with spring. Engine starts and runs great at a slow steady pace. Engine has new decals and is ready to show. This engine does not have the original pulley, but it looks good, and is close to the correct size. The pulley is brazed on the hub. This is a restored Maytag Hit or Miss engine. It was completely gone through and repainted. New piston rings, rebuilt carburetor, fuel tank liner, new decals and electronics. This engine hasn’t been started since restoration. It was displayed inside a home and we didn’t want the gasoline smell. It turns over nicely and would run if desired. Up for sale is a very nice restored Maytag Model 92 11-111, Antique hit miss Gas Engine. The flywheel has serial # 769141 stamped on it so it was in production Feb 1937. Painted with original Maytag green automotive paint. The skids you see under my motors go with the engine. I have been restoring these engines for over 10 years. This engine was completely taken apart and SAND blasted BEAD blasted cleaned and painted the original Maytag green paint. I take a lot of pride in these motors as you can see and I like to do a little extra detailing such as the lettering and the numbers as you can see in the pictures. I think it makes the motor’s stand out better. Lot of guys likes to copy my work so I have a trade mark that I can only tell that it is one that I had done. I do not use any junk parts on my motors. As you can see this engine is complete and not missing any parts such as the pulley and air filter. It has new rings, condenser, spark plug and plug wire with new ends. I also honed out the Cylinder jug and carburetor is completely rebuilt with all new parts. This engine has been restored and freshly painted and the fuel tank and top plate was sealed so it will not rust again. I do not paint the flywheels like some people I just polish them up nice. After putting it all back together I ran three tanks of fuel through it and it runs just fine. I like to run my engines that much so I know it will run great and help seat the rings a little for you. Then I put on a set of real nice WATER TRANSFER DECAL that I had made and sell. NOT those NASTY sticky fly by night cheap decals. The coil is good and has hot nice spark. I have a lot of people will send me a motor to restore for them as well. All it needs now is fuel and you can start it with your hand, it is that easy to start. No breaks cracks or welds.
