This is a very nice original 12 inch clutch type pulley for a cream separator, corn sheller, grinder, or other piece of belt driven machinery. It is in excellent, slightly used condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs of any kind. It has most of it’s original paint and pinstriping on it yet as can be seen. It measures about 12 inches in diameter with a 2 1/2 inch face. It has a 3/4 inch bore and room enough to bore it larger if needed. Everything seems to work as it should. This type of pulley allows the used to leave the engine belted up to the implement without removing the belt. It is also large enough to run the implement at a low speed with a small pulley on the engine basically replacing the hand crank on the implement. It uses a handscrew to put pressure from the wooden blocks to the cast iron clutch disc. These clutches are extremely tough to find in the wild ore even at swap meets! This one is ready to be put to work on an engine or put into your inventory for a future project. The pictures tell the story. Nice restored 1/2hp Standard Cream Separator engine. It has a 12″ flywheel and stands 36″ tall and weighs aprox 150 pounds with out crate. It is in very nice condition and has wheels that go under the box it sets on. I don’t know the date it was made but the company started production of these engines in 1911. This is a really nice original and rare BF Avery cream separator made by BF Avery in Louisville, Kentucky in the early to mid 19teens. It is a Model 40 and is in excellent used condition with most of it’s original paint, stenciling, and striping! The bearings all seem to be in good shape. It turns as it should even after sitting for many years. It stands about 45 1/2 inches tall. There are no cracks, breaks, or repairs that I can see or know of. It has the original valve in the bowl and the original pail shelf is on it. It even has the original float in the top spout. This is a very rare cream separator with only 3 total Avery separators known and this being the oldest of the 3. (This information was supplied by the fella that wrote the collectible cream separator book). This would be a great addition to your Avery collection or display. I can deliver to LeSueur, MN, Baraboo, WI, Portland, IN, or Coolspring, PA, next year. It can stay here as long as needed as long as it’s paid for. Original and unusual cream separators like this don’t turn up that often so don’t miss your chance on it. It may be the only chance you get at an Avery cream separator! This is an extremely nice original and VERY hard to find John Deere and Webber Gold Medal No. It is fresh from an old collection where it was tucked away for many years. It has lots of original paint on it and displays very nicely. Everything seems to turn and work as it should. All of the internals are there in the separating head and it has the original bowl, spouts, and float with it. It has the original Gold Medal and Deere and Webber tags on it. It also has the remnants of an original decal on the side of the body. It is great shape with no cracks, breaks or repairs that I can see or know of other than the solder on the bowl spout needing some attention. It is also missing the wing nut type screw that secures the bowl to the saddle and the pail shelf. This separator was made by Associated Manufacturers in Waterloo, Iowa, for John Deere and it would be very likely that an Associated cream separator pail shelf would be the same as the one for this separator. This is a fantastic display piece for your early hit and miss gas engine display or John Deere machinery collection. Cream separators like this hardly ever turn up in the wild or even at swap meets anymore so if you’ve been looking for one don’t miss this one. The pictures tell the story. You’ll like it!
