This is a very nice original name tag for a the air starting tank for a Ruston Hornsby engine. It measures about 3 3/4 x 5 5/8 inches and is made of brass. These were originally soldered to the cast iron air starting tanks and are often missing. It is in excellent used condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs of any kind and has some real nice old patina. It would be a great way to finish off your restoration or put it on a nice original engine tank. The pictures tell the story. You won’t be disappointed in any way. Here is a Webster JY brass body magneto. This mag is often used on IHC and other larger engines. These are pretty difficult to find with a brass body. The armature drags just a tiny little bit but that shouldn’t hurt anything. Please take a look at the pictures and decide if you need it. For questions 419 789 1159. Model JY, Serial No. The mounting pattern is about 2-13/16″ x 2-7/16″. Should be ready to use. Has some very slight armature drag that shouldn’t hurt anything. Only a small amount of wear. This is a low tension magneto meant to work with an igniter. It will not produce a spark that will jump an air gap no matter who tells you it will or how close you hold the wire to ground.. It makes a spark that can be seen when the igniter points open. Most items will go out faster though. I have many good parts and pieces I will be listing in the next few months. I try to do a very good job of listing everything I sell in a very accurate manner to explain all the good and bad points with the pictures and in the description. So if someone doesn’t pay I will ban them from my listings and also tell all my friends who also sell engine parts on here who to watch out for. Here is a nice looking IHC R magneto. It produces a very nice spark and has only a very minimal amount of wear. It still has the factory seal in place. Please take a look at the pictures and decide if you need it. SPECIAL NOTE: This is a low tension magneto, it is meant to work with an igniter and will not produce at spark that will jump an air gap. It will not work with a spark plug. The spark it produces can be observed by rubbing a wire from the terminal against the case of the mag while turning the shaft. It does have to be timed to the engine. 3/8 shaft for gear mounting. The mounting holes have perfect threads. Only a very minimal amount bearing wear can be felt. I think this mag is ready to start and run your engine. For questions 419 789 1159. I think I list items very accurately but my opinion on condition may differ from yours. Here is a very nice Wizard Model 2S low tension magneto. This mag appears to be in great shape and possibly rebuilt. Here is a Webster JY magneto. The mag appears to be and great shape and rebuilt. This mag is often used on IHC and other larger engines. They are very hard to find and are especially hard to find in this condition. Please take a look at the pictures and decide if you need it. For questions 419 789 1159. Model JY, Serial No. It appears to have had new bushings installed, no wear can be felt. The mounting pattern is about 2-13/16″ x 2-15/32″. This is a low tension magneto meant to work with an igniter. It will not produce a spark that will jump an air gap no matter who tells you it will or how close you hold the wire to ground.. It makes a spark that can be seen when the igniter points open. Most items will go out faster though. I have many good parts and pieces I will be listing in the next few months.
