Here is a WICO EK high tension magneto. This is a very good looking hot magneto. This mag is probably hotter than 90% of the EK’s I have messed with. The brass case is original and very clean! Please take a look at the pictures and decide if you need it. Very strong magnetism, I recharged it right before I took the pictures. Very Hot Spark, it will jump 3/8. It seems to trip fine. Keep in mind all of the parts for a mag like this can be had as reproductions, they are really easy to work on in my opinion, if it ever needs anything. With that said it should work for many years to come as it is. I think I list items very accurately but my opinion on condition may differ from yours. I truly believe this mag is ready to start and run your engine but your engine may have problems that will not let that happen. I have not had most of these mags apart and may not know what the inside looks like. Please do not be a clown and tear it all apart and then complain to me when it doesn’t work anymore. Most items will go out faster though. I have many good parts and pieces I will be listing in the next few months. I try to do a very good job of listing everything I sell in a very accurate manner to explain all the good and bad points with the pictures and in the description. So if someone doesn’t pay I will ban them from my listings and also tell all my friends who also sell engine parts on here who to watch out for. If you haven’t caught on this is supposed to be mildly funny but yet serious at the same time. If you decide you don’t want it or find another one cheaper you I won’t take it back. Here is a Webster Model M. The spark on this one is very hot! Please take a look at the pictures and decide if you need it. Original name tag or band. The bearings only have very minimal wear, I took the springs off and spun the armature and felt a s trong magnetic pull and no drag. I recharged this mag right before I took the pictures. The mounting pattern is 1-1/2″ x 2″ on center. It looks like the studs have been replaced, a couple wiggle just a tiny little bit but they all seem very solid. One of the spring holder end plates is brass and one is cast iron. I think the brass one is probably a later factory replacement part, it is hard to notice they do not match and it will not hurt anything. This mag is for an igniter and will not fire a spark plug. I think I list items very accurately but my opinion on condition may differ from yours. If you want advice on how to use it please give me a call and I’ll be glad to help. Please do not tear it apart to “clean it” or “paint it” and then try to return it or get me to pay for a rebuild because it stopped working. Most items will go out faster though. Early Economy Hercules Hit Miss Engine hp 1 ¾ S Serial Number: 350066. By any shipper you want or see below. The engine is completely original even the wooden mount. Very good compression and spark comes as pictured with extra greasers and hand crank. I have not tried to start the engine and prefer not to the Magneto needs the trip adjusted. The previous owner did run the engine and greased it up for storage. The large flat belt drive pulley does have a chip see pictures. The Holms Machine Works in Sparta, Michigan originally built them. They were built in Sparta from 1910 until late 1913. This is how Hercules got into the business of building engines. Hercules’s claim to fame before this time was in the building of buggies. They began production of engines in Evansville in late 1913 or early 1914. The engines built by Holms in Sparta are referred to as “Sparta” Economy Engines.
