This belt shifter is for starting and stopping your machine that is ran by a line shaft. It’s more positive than the common wooden handle shifters. One of the small wheels is an idler pulley and the other small wheel turns with the large wheel. Please take a close look at the pictures. Matchlessantiques is offering and collectors and enthusiasts this line shaft flat belt pulley assembly. This assembly includes greased bearings and a clutch fork with belt guides for moving the belt to the idler pulley. The idler pulley can be greased from the end of the shaft and has grease holes in the shaft. The main bearings have threaded holes for grease zirks. Please take a close look at the pictures. Length 36″, large wheel 3 1/4″ x 14 “, small wheel 3 1/4 x 6″, and 3 5/8″ by 6″, main shaft 1 1/8″, shifting handle 52″, total weight 98 lb. Here is a good looking old water pump and eccentric. I believe this is probably originally off of an old side shaft gas engine but I do not know what kind. There are NO cracks, breaks, or welds. Check out the pictures and see if you need it. The piston is 1-1/2. It mounts with 2 holes 2-1/2 apart on center. The hole in eccentric is 1-1/2 (not counting the bushing that is in it). The open water hole is 1/2 threaded pipe. The lubrication hole for the eccentric is threaded and probably had a grease cup. NO Cracks, Breaks, or Welds! Most items will go out faster though. I have many good parts and pieces I will be listing in the next few months. I try to do a very good job of listing everything I sell in a very accurate manner to explain all the good and bad points with the pictures and in the description. So if someone doesn’t pay I will ban them from my listings and also tell all my friends who also sell engine parts on here who to watch out for. If you haven’t caught on this is supposed to be mildly funny but yet serious at the same time. If you decide you don’t want it or find another one cheaper you I won’t take it back. This is a well built Vaughn hit miss side shaft engine with a 9 inch flywheel. I bought it as a mechanics kit, built it, fine tuned it, pulled it apart and painted it then re assembled it back in 2005. Has under 6hrs run time on it.
