Here is an original head with valves for a 1-1/2hp John Deere E gas engine. The fit valves well in their guides with only a small amount of wear. It appears to be in great shape. It has been drilled and tapped for a small pipe plug in the carb area. That will not hurt a thing. Please take a look at the pictures and see if you need it. The valves fit nice in their guides with only a small amount of wear. Homemade the choke plate, those are very simple and easy to get. No Cracks, Breaks, or Welds. For questions 419 789 1159. Here is a nice original head that I think is for a Lauson engine. Please check the measurements to make sure it is what you need. The valve heads and seats look good but I would probably lap them before I put it on an engine.. The valves also feel good in their guides. For questions 419 789 1159. No cracks, breaks, or welds. The mounting hole pattern is 4-1/8″ x 4-1/8″ measured from closest hole to next closest hole on center. The carb mounts with 2 holes about 2-1/4 apart on center. About 6-7/8 in overall diameter. 15-1/2 lbs actual weight before box and packing materials. Most items will go out faster though. Check out the pictures and see if you need it. 2 Mounting holes 3 apart on center. The center is about 1-3/4 in diameter. The igniter extends about 3 into the engine from the gasket surface. 1-1/2 HP Stover Model KE Hit & Miss Engine. Good compression, hasn’t run in a number of years, but its a good runner. Something fell on the magneto years ago and broke the mag off, but I have a replacement bracket for you see pictures – you will need a magneto. Looks to be original fuel tank, which is somewhat rare on these engines. I also have a splash guard I will include with the engine, may have a starting crank handle as well.
