Wico EK magneto for sale. Original brass covers are in fair shape with very small and minimal dents. In a couple photos I have the covers removed to show you the internal condition. Appears dirty compared to some I’ve had! This magneto puts out a decent blue consistent spark. Although I cannot prove it’ll run or start an engine, I believe this magneto has potential and may require minimum to no work at all before being ready to go to work! Please see all pictures for the absolute best description. Depending on your engine this magneto may require some small adjustments for its absolute best performance.
For your consideration is an original HEAD with VALVES for a spark plug 3hp Fairbanks Morse Z throttle governed, Hit Miss Old stationary type Gas Engine. The exhaust port threads are in good condition. The 1/2 NPT spark plug threads appear to be in good shape. The valves move, and are fairly tight tight in the guides rather than wiggle, they may need lapped or attention I’m not guaranteeing them on anything. The mounting bolts are about 4-1/4 apart on centers. It’s about a 7-7/16 diameter outside circle. The carburetor mounting bolt holes are about 3-1/4 on center. It doesn’t appear to have any cracks breaks or welds. It’s in original red color. WICO EK Magneto Bracket for FULLER JOHNSON Spark Plug Hit Miss Gas Engine. Mounts to engine with 2 holes 2 3/4 apart. Mag mounting holes are 1 1/8 apart on center for WICO EK. 1/2 spark plug hole. With the springs removed, this magneto will produce a weak spark by giving the armature a quick spin by hand and scratching the lead out wire against my steel bench. I don’t believe it’s enough spark to start or run an engine however. 2″ x 2″ mounting. I believe this is a good candidate for a rebuild. Mounting holes are solid. There is one small crack in the pot metal base next to one of the mounting holes as you can see in the pictures! See pictures for the absolute best description!
Head specifically removed from a throttle governed 3Hp Fairbanks Morse Z spark plug engine. This head has a freeze crack and will need repaired before being installed! Valves are loose and move freely, for best results a quick lapping and clean job would probably be a good idea! Original part number ZBA5. The 4 head mounting holes are spaced 4 1/4 apart from each other on centers. The carburetor mounting holes are 3 3/16 apart on centers. Keep in mind this item is old and used and will require some work before being able to be put to work! Please see pictures for the absolute best description!
Here is a spark timer contact for a Novo hit and miss gas engine. I’m not exactly sure which sizes of engines this will fit. Please check the measurements against your engine to be sure its what you need. It seems to be in great shape and ready to use. Check out the pictures and see if you need it. For your consideration is an original HEAD with VALVES for a spark plug 1-1/2hp International Harvester, IHC, McCormick Deering Hit Miss, Old stationary type Gas Engine. It has a 1-1/4NPT exhaust port which has good threads. The spark plug threads appear to be in good shape. The valves appear to be fairly new, if not were new when put in the head, as there was sharpie marker writing on them and they’re shiny new (I did not install them or have them installed, it came to me this way). The intake guide has minimal play in it but it should be fine to use. There’s a chip out of the top of the exhaust valve guide, but that shouldn’t affect it. The throttle butterfly moves and is spring loaded. The mounting bolts are about 4 apart on centers. It’s about a 3-5/8 diameter center circle. It has some red and grey primer on it.
