Hercules Economy XK Fuel Fill Spout And Tank Hit Miss Stationary Engine

For your consideration is an original Hercules or Economy fuel tank and fill spout # GE 4051 for a XK model Hit Miss Stationary Engine. It seems to have 1-1/4″ NPT threads, and it’s about 6″ overall long. It has red paint on the spout. Also included is the brass fitting that solders and pins to the tank. The part number is GE4050A. The tank has the 1/4 NPT tee fitting on the front for the fuel line. The tank has a dent in it but that shouldn’t effect it to much. I haven’t tested it for Leaks. I have never seen that feature on one of these before. It could be plugged with a 1/4 pipe plug or could be used as a fuel return on a throttle governed engine.
