Here is a starting torch for a Fairbanks Morse Y semi diesel engine. These are very difficult to find! It appears to be in good shape. It will probably need some new packing or seal for the pump. The tank looks good and solid. Check out the pictures and see if you need it. For questions 419 789 1159. 13-7/8 in overall height. The tank is 4-1/4 in diameter. Will probably need a new seal or packing for the pump. No cracks, breaks, or welds that I can see or know of. Appears to be in great shape. 6 lbs actual weight before box and packing material. Old Fairbanks Morse Compressor Engine for starting Large Hit Miss Engines – very rare. These engines were used to force compressed air into a very large engine to turn the engine over and get it started. Original cast iron base, all in one compressor unit. When I found it the compressor had been taking off, set aside and the engine was painted and being shown by itself. Rare Fairbanks engine with 1 Solid flywheel the mates directly to compressor. Engine has Good compression, hasn’t run in years will need some tinkering / fixin – should be a good runner. AB33 Bosch Magneto – missing cover, will most likely need a tune up. Compressor has some repairs, they are done very well, you won’t see them when restored its going to need some tinkering also, but I believe it is mostly complete except for piping. The piston is stuck on the compressor from sitting. We can deliver the Engine up to 300 Miles with compensation. PLEASE WATCH VIDEO BELOW. PLEASE ASK ANY QUESTIONS.
