This is a real nice original starting blow torch to head up the head on a Fairbanks Morse Y oil engine. It is in excellent original condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs that I can see or know of. It is about 4 1/2 inches in diameter and 13 1/2 inches tall overall. It has a good amount of original paint on it and the plunger moves as it should. It will probably need new washers or packing on the plunger but this would be quite simple. It has the original Fairbanks Morse tag on it. These original torches are almost impossible to find in the wild or even at swap meets so if you need one for your engine here is your chance. It will likely be a long time before another one turns up and it probably won’t be this nice! The pictures tell the story. You won’t be disappointed in any way. This is an extremely hard to find original brass blow torch for heating the head or hot bulb on an early oil engine. It is in good original condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs of any kind and only some minor dents and wear. The tank is made of heavy brass. Everything moves as it should including the fuel needle, flame adjuster, and filler cap. This torch stands about 7 3/4 inches tall and has a great old look to it. It would be a fine addition to your early engine even if you don’t use it! These torches are extremely tough to find in the wild or even at swap meets so if you’ve been looking for one don’t miss your chance on this one. It will likely be a long time before another one turns up and it probably won’t be this nice! Let the pictures be your guide. You won’t be disappointed in any way!
