This is a nice original Acme Brass Works 1 1/2 npt vertical type check foot valve for the infeed hose for a steam traction engine water tender wagon. It measures about 5 3/4 inches tall overall and is in good used condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs of any kind. The 1 1/2 npt threads are in great shape. The valve moves as it should. It appears to be ready to go to work for you. If you need one for a project here is a pretty nice one. It would also make a great spare on the shelf. The pictures tell the story. This is an original cast iron piston and connecting rod assembly for a 1 1/2 or 2hp Hercules or Economy hit and miss gas engine. It may fit other models or sizes so please do your homework to be sure it fits your application. It is in good condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs of any kind except for the boss for the wrist pin set screw which can be relocated to the other side. The wrist pin bushing needs to be replaced and the rod bearing is missing but is available from several of the hobby suppliers. The piston measures about 3 1/4 inches in diameter and about 4 1/4 inches long. It is about 2 1/8 inches from the top to the center of the 5/8 inch diameter wrist pin hole. Please measure your engine to be sure it works for your application. These original parts are quite tough to find in the wild or even at swap meets! If you’ve been looking for one to complete a restoration or to replace your broken or repaired one here’s your chance. The pictures tell the story. It would surely beat making one! This is a very to find large original brass priming cup for a hit and miss gas engine or tractor. It is in as found condition from an old shop and measures about 1 5/8 inches in diameter and about 3 5/8 inches tall. The lever moves as should. The wrench flats aren’t real crisp but the unit should still be serviceable. The 3/8 npt threads are in good shape and this priming cup should be ready for use.
