Rare JUDSON HIT MISS ENGINE No. 2697 Horizontal 3 Ball Fly Governor Steampunk lot

2697 Horizontal 3 Ball Fly Governor Steam Hit Miss Engine. This listing is for an antique Judson model No. 2697 Ball Governor for a hit and miss engine. It is in great antique shape, and with the proper final touches could easily be put to use again. This is the perfect piece for finishing or starting a new hit miss engine build! It comes with both belt pulleys as well, to re-convert back to an older belt system. It has the original metal branding tag still attached (see photos) which is rare on these kinds of parts, especially in this good of condition. All the gears and levers spin and turn freely, one spot seems to be held with copper wire in place of a missing pin. It has the original knob, which is also usually missing on these as well. It also comes mounted to what I assume is the original mounting bracket/ base. Top to bottom of base: roughly 18.5 inches. Width: roughly 8.5 inches. I have cleaned this item to the best of my ability. It has had multiple scrubbings, washings, and sudsings to get as much of the 120 or more years worth of grime off. It still has some stubborn residue left, but nothing that will affect the functionality of the item. Vintage Industrial Hit-Miss Steam Gas Engine Flat Belt Pulley 15-1/4″ diameter 4-5/8″ wide. Used Flat Belt Pulley. Very heavy duty casting. Is 15-1/4 diameter at the edge. Face is 4-5/8 wide. Center hole is 1-3/16 diameter. Center hub width is approx 3-1/2 wide. Hub is offset to the one side. Has a shallow cut key way. There is a heating discoloration across the flat surface. I assume this was done to help expand the casting when these pulleys were taken off years ago. I have another same pulley listed separately. That one has a drilled hole in the hub, no key way though.
