Low Tension Magnetic Hit & Miss Engine Gas Ignitor Coil

This is a first class low tension gas engine coil for your Ignitor engine. This coil is designed for your engine made in true old world style. This is NOT for an engine with a spark plug. These are top notch coils and from some of the other low tension coils I have seen on the market these produce a lot hotter spark! Well worth the few extra dollars when it comes down to cranking your engine by hand to get it started and running. This low tension coil is machine wound to the correct tension to minimize hot and cold expansion damage to windings. Solid copper wire is made in the USA and is coated with high temperature insulation for long term durability. 100% all new materials are used for a consistent quality. The heavy windings and iron core create ample inductance to draw a long blue spark under compression and even create a point cleaning action. Your engine will run great and start better with the use of this coil. Measures 4.75 x 3 x 3.5.

HOT EDWARDS 2 Cylinder Low Tension Magneto. Bench tested – HOT with test light and I recharged the magnets. 3″ x 2 3/4″ with. 2 mounting holes that are 2 apart on center. The mounting hole threads are a bit stripped, but you can still screw a bolt into them. I would suggest they be heli-coiled. Gear has 2 7/8 diameter and 28 teeth. 28 that are 3/8 wide. Bench tested – HOT with test light. I recharged the magnets. Pot metal body with original band. Base has 2 mounting holes that measure 2 apart-on-center – threads look good. Has the plate that goes behind the gear. Gear has 2 11/16 diameter. Gear has a 5/16″ diameter hole to mount on a 3/8″ diameter shaft. Gear has 30 teeth that are 1/2″ wide and 3/16″ apart. Gear has Part No. 9679T for 1 1/2HP IHC M Hit Miss engine. Please feel free to call me with questions. Here is a John Deere low tension magneto. This is the mag that most 1-1/2hp, 3hp, and 6hp John Deere E hit and miss engines use. This mag is stuck and has a broken case. The shaft will turn on one end but doesn’t appear to turn on the other end. Please take a look at the pictures and decide if you need it. 3/8 shaft for gear. No spark Cracking on case. Leadout tower may not be original. I think I list items very accurately but my opinion on condition may differ from yours. In my opinion this is a parts magneto.
