Here is a very nice Webster M low tension magneto. It has an excellent spark. It is an aluminum or white metal frame mag. It still has some of its original gold paint. Please take a look at the pictures and see if you need it. For questions 419 789 1159. SPECIAL NOTE this is a low tension mag and will not fire a spark plug! It is meant to be used with an igniter. The spark on a mag like this will not jump an air gap! I tested this mag by visually assessing the spark it produced while rubbing a bare wire against the body of the mag while turning the shaft with the springs off. Aluminum or white metal frame. Only a minimal amount of bearing wear. 1-1/2″ x 2″ Mounting pattern, all the studs are tight in their holes. I try to list items very accurately but my opinions on condition may differ from yours. This item in a complex antique electronic mechanical unit. Please don’t act like a cave man and send me emails grunting “my friend mag guy says need rebuilt you pay he bill” or “I took apart now no fire I send back”. Most items will go out faster though. I have many good parts and pieces I will be listing in the next few months. I try to do a very good job of listing everything I sell in a very accurate manner to explain all the good and bad points with the pictures and in the description. So if someone doesn’t pay I will ban them from my listings and also tell all my friends who also sell engine parts on here who to watch out for. Webster Type “K” BRASS Body HOT Magneto. Magneto is in good condition and ready to use. 4 bolt mounting 2″ x 2″. Throws a nice blue spark. One of the corners of the brass bottom has a small chip – see photos. Two of the thread holes have been repaired with epoxy – see photos. Band at top has been replaced. Original part with repairs noted above. Original RARE part with repairs noted above. I apologize for any inconvenience. Please feel free to call me with questions. Here is a nice Webster K magneto. It is very hot and in great shape. It is very tight, only a very minimal amount of wear. It spins freely with the springs off just as it should. Please take a look at the pictures and decide if you need it. If you have any questions 419 789 1159. SPECIAL NOTE: This is a low tension magneto, it is meant to work with an igniter and will not produce at spark that will jump an air gap. It will not work with a spark plug. The spark it produces can be observed by rubbing a wire from the terminal against the case of the mag while turning the shaft. It does have to be timed to the engine. 2″ x 2″ mounting pattern. All the studs are in great shape and are tight in their holes. Only a very minimal amount of wear. Spins freely with the springs off. REMY NON-Vibrating Type Ignition Coil. Has REMY ignition switch on front with start button. Lever moves freely to Batt. Top screw on switch does not tighten down. For Hit Miss engine or early Automobile like Overland, Buick, REO, Carter Car, Oldsmobile, Etc. Nice brass name plate. All wood case with some surface damage on one side (See Photo 7 for close-up). Nice tight finger joints. Nice unusual REMY coil box. Wires come out rear side of coil. Brass name tag is marked. Rear cover is 5 1/4″ x 8 1/2″. Box is 4″ x 7 3/4″. Overall height is 3 3/4. Here is a nice looking Bosch NRV low tension magneto. It is very much like Sumter B. It produces a very nice spark. There is a small amount of wear but nothing that will hurt anything. The armature turns over smoothly with no amount of drag. This mag should be ready to start and run your engine. Please check out the pictures and see if you need it. SPECIAL NOTE: This is a low tension magneto, it is meant to work with an igniter and will not produce at spark that will jump an air gap. It will not work with a spark plug. The spark it produces can be observed by rubbing a wire from the terminal against the case of the mag while turning the shaft. It does have to be timed to the engine. Tapered shaft for gear mounting. 2″ x 2″ mounting pattern. All the mounting holes have excellent threads. Has a small amount of wear.
