Here is a very nice Webster AMM low tension magneto. This mag is the same as a model M but has a double magnet. It has an excellent spark. It is an aluminum or white metal frame mag. Please take a look at the pictures and see if you need it. SPECIAL NOTE this is a low tension mag and will not fire a spark plug! It is meant to be used with an igniter. The spark on a mag like this will not jump an air gap! I tested this mag by visually assessing the spark it produced while rubbing a bare wire against the body of the mag while turning the shaft with the springs off. Aluminum or white metal frame. 1-1/2″ x 2″ Mounting pattern, all the studs are tight in their holes. I try to list items very accurately but my opinions on condition may differ from yours. This item in a complex antique electronic mechanical unit. Here is a very nice Webster M low tension magneto. It has an excellent spark. The bearings have a small amount of wear but it should work good as it is for years to come. The oil hole is broken out a little bit in the rear. This is a common problem and will not hurt the operation of the mag. It is an aluminum or white metal frame mag. When I bought it was on an igniter that also seem to be new old stock (that igniter is not pictured or included with this sale). It is in great shape in every way. Here is a very nice Webster M low tension magneto. The bearings are perfect and it has very strong magnetism. The studs have been replaced and they are all tight in their holes but the mag body seems a little broken out around the are the enter the mag. It should work fine the way it is and you will not be able to see that area when it is installed on the igniter bracket on the engine. Please take a look at the pictures and see if you need it. SPECIAL NOTE this is a low tension mag and will not fire a spark plug! It is meant to be used with an igniter. The spark on a mag like this will not jump an air gap! Here is a nice Associated high bar low tension magneto. This mag is in great shape and ready to use but it is not absolutely perfect. One of the mounting holes has a couple hairline cracks. That is an extremely common thing with these mags and it shouldn’t hurt anything. The threads in the mounting holes are not completely perfect but they are pretty good and all accept bolts just fine. This mag is very hot and only has a minimal amount of wear. I would expect it to be able to start and run an engine for many years to come. Please take a look at the pictures and see if you need it. SPECIAL NOTE this is a low tension mag and will not fire a spark plug! It is meant to be used with an igniter. The spark on a mag like this will not jump an air gap! I tested this mag by visually assessing the spark it produced while rubbing a bare wire against the body of the mag while turning the shaft with the springs off. Aluminum or white metal frame. The bearings seem very nice with only minimal wear. 2-3/4″ x 2-3/4″ mounting pattern, the threads in these holes are not perfect but they will work fine. A couple hairline cracks near a mounting hole, see picture. Gear is about 2-11/16 in diameter and it has 25 teeth. This sale is for a very hard to find Wizard brass body type 4S rotary low tension magneto. It is in very nice original condition. Bushings are tight, and it turns over nicely and is hot. I do not believe this was used much. Ready to install and run. It is a 4 magnet mag, and the mounting holes measure approx. 2 center to center. This mag is unusual in that the armature shaft is 1/2″ diameter unlike most low tension mags which are 3/8″. Again rare and ready to install. Please see pictures and ask questions if you have them. Thordsrson coil for hit miss engines IHC Famous Low Tension

This is a Thordarson low tension coil made early in the 1900′s. I believe they were the favorite of early IHC Famous engines and tractors. Is still in its original patina. I checked it and it throws a nice plus spark. If you have any questions I would be happy to answer them.
