Nice throttle governed Fairbanks head with no breaks or repairs!! Valves are loose and look good, springs are good as well! The exhaust and the water drain plugs will definitely need a tap ran through them to make assembly a breeze. I’ve had a pipe in the exhaust no problem but you will for sure need to clean up the threads for the drain plug. Please see pictures for the absolute best description and keep in mind this part is 100 years old, it’s not new like it once was years ago!! Carburetor mount center to center bolt spacing is 2 1/4. For your consideration is an original HEAD with VALVES for 2-1/2hp & 3-1/2hp HERCULES or ECONOMY throttle governed engine. It has a 1″ diameter intake port which someone started to thread but isn’t threaded by much and 1-1/4″ NPT exhaust port which has good threads. The rocker arm stands & the pushrod guide have not been repaired as can be seen in the pics. The head is in good shape, but it is missing the bolt and keeper for the valves. The valves will likely need new stems but the seats seem fine. The mounting bolts are about 3-1/4 apart on centers. About 6-3/4 diameter outside head circle. Here is a very nice old Krice carb. It seems to be in excellent condition. The throttle valve works very smoothly. No wear or slop.
