This is a pretty decent little 1hp International Harvester Famous hit and miss gas engine. It is in original condition fresh off of the farm. It turns over as it should but some of the small parts are stuck. I’m sure with a little patience and elbow grease they’d free right up. It has some original paint and lettering on it yet and sits on the original board. It is quite greasy so I’m sure there’s more paint to be found! It has an old repair on the head which could be dressed down and made presentable. The exhaust threads and back end of the push rod need attention as I’ve pointed out. It has the original mixer and gas tank on it. It is the earlier version with the bronze connecting rod. It also has the hard to find cream separator bracket on it. The gear and pulley are gone but are available rather inexpensively. There are a few sharper teeth on the cam gear which is quite common on these little IHC’s but it should be alright the way it is for quite some time. This little engine should be a pretty straightforward project and would be a fine addition to your early hit and miss engine collection or IHC display. The pictures tell the story. You’ll like it. Here is a rare 303J1 Webster magneto bracket. This fits 6hp IHC Titan and Famous engines. It has been welded on the mag mount at one time but done well. The weld is just about not noticeable with mag on the bracket. It is missing a piece where it bolts to the engine. The roller for lifting the trip during the coast cycle is broken. This is an extremely hard to find IHCO (International Harvester COmpany) cast iron pump jack beam for an International Harvester Famous or Titan era walking beam pump jack. It is about 35 inches long. It is a reproduction raw casting in iron and will need finish grinding/blending and drilling/machining to be usable. Basically just three pivot holes and a clearance slot at each end. These pump jacks are shown in the IHC Famous engine catalogs and parts books and are extremely tough to find in the wild or even at swap meets. They are very iconic to the IHC engine line and really set a pump display off! If you’d like to set up a sure attention-getter at the shows don’t miss your chance on it! The pictures tell the story. Here is an original carb or fuel mixer for a 2-1/2hp IHC Titan or Famous. There are NO cracks, breaks, or welds. Check out the pictures and see if you need it. Rare and hard to find. Needle valve stuck but will be easy to loosen up. One pipe broken off in the fuel bowl and will need to be removed. Most items will go out faster though. I have many good parts and pieces I will be listing in the next few months. I try to do a very good job of listing everything I sell in a very accurate manner to explain all the good and bad points with the pictures and in the description. So if someone doesn’t pay I will ban them from my listings and also tell all my friends who also sell engine parts on here who to watch out for. If you haven’t caught on this is supposed to be mildly funny but yet serious at the same time. If you decide you don’t want it or find another one cheaper you I won’t take it back. Here is a very rare magneto for an IHC Mogul gas engine. These brass Accurate mags are hard to find. This is about the only spare we’ve had in many years of collecting. This mag fits the 1 HP, 1 3/4 HP, & 2 1/2 HP Moguls as well as some other early IHC engines. This mag has the original gear, but it is missing one tooth. You may be able to braze a tooth back in well enough to use it. It would certainly be easier than making a whole new gear! The mag is stuck and will need some attention before it’s used again, but the base and magnets look good and it should make a good mag.
