MAGNETO MAGNET CHARGER or MAGNETIZER TOOL. It was extremely well-made with a solid wood case, I can see no Maker’s mark and it is 110 – volt powered. I’m definitely no expert on these, all I can say is that when powered-up it generates a strong magnetic pull… But it is otherwise untested. Can possibly be used as a DEMAGNETIZER… Fresh from the estate of a longtime Hit & Miss Stationary Engine and Ford model A T collector. Great item for your antique Automobilia, old Garage/Gas Station memorabilia or early Magneto Testing Equipment collection. MEASUREMENTS : About 14-1/2″ wide x 9″ deep x 9-7/8 tall. CONDITION : Appears good used with some expected wear/light scattered surface rusting/etc. It DOES create a strong magnetic pull… However it is UNTESTED as to its Magnetizing capabilities. Overall fairly decent physical condition. Motor runs good, but cord is bad with outer cracked rubber coating. Directional forward & reverse switch works well. Belt is poor and probably needs replacement. There is no manual or instructions. Has not been used for years. No idea how it works or if it needs some work to function correctly. Will need some work or parts to function. This is from the estate of a Hit-Miss Engine collector & repairer. Overall size is approx 20″ long x 15″ x 15. Offered is a clean vintage / antique cast iron Hand Crank Valve Lathe – Dresser / re-surfacer The tool looks great, it is not marked up and it looks to have been used no more than a few times The tool mounts into a vise as shown in the google picture, the bit used looks like a standard metal lathe bit The crank handle fastens to the end of the valve to turn it against the cutter bit, it has a turned hardwood knob The valve is pressed against the cutter bit via an adjustable arm and screw at the front It is not marked but I think it was probably made by Albertson & Co Sioux City Iowa It is approx. 4 long, the handle is approx. 5 1/2 long hopefully someone can put it to good use! ……………………………….
