Here’s a larger brass oiler manufactured by Anker-Holth of Chicago. There are a couple of nicks in the 3/8 NPT thread it installs with. They will dress out with a small file and work fine.

This is an NOS, new old stock 3/4 Crane throttle valve for a steam engine. It is in unused condition and even has the original plugs in it. This is a very nice original and VERY hard to find brass specialty valve for a Minneapolis steam traction engine. I don’t know exactly what engine it is for and may fit several so if you know please educate me. It is in excellent condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs that I can see or know or. It is complete with the original star handle and drain. It appears to be a sediment trap of sorts. It has 3/4″ npt female threads in both places and has “29M in raised numbers on the body. It is in excellent condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs that I can see or know or. With the exception of the lower tail nut it is complete with the dome and all of the internals are inside. Although it isn’t marked I think it was made by Buckeye Brass Works as most of these were. It has 1″npt male threads in both places and has “4425 in raised numbers on the body. The body measures about 12 inches tall. It looks to have some original green paint on the body. This is a very nice original example. If you need one for any reason this one should serve the purpose. It would also make a great spare on the shelf. These original brass check valves are almost impossible to find in. The wild or even at swap meets so don’t miss your chance one this one. Here is a Glazier Headlight for a Steam Traction Engine, Locomotive, or Prairie Tractor. It is very similar or the same as a HAMM (I think). It seems to be in pretty decent shape but it is missing the whole lamp assembly that slides inside. I think it would be really cool in install a super bright LED battery light then put it on a traction engine. What you see is what you get, its “AS IS”. Check out the pictures and see if you need it. This is a VERY hard to find crosshead water pump and check valve for a Huber steam traction engine. According to an astute Ebayer it should be for a 25/30hp Huber traction engine and it may fit others. The pump as a “Z328″ part number. It is about 20 inches long overall and mounts with two holes 4 9/16 inches apart on center. It is in good condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs that I can see or know of and the piston rod moves as it should. The check valve is in nice shape with all of the internals inside. It has 1″ npt female threads on the bottom, 1″ npt female threads on one leg, and 1 1/4npt male threads on the other leg going into the pump. The body of the check valve measures about 12 inches tall. \This pump is a very nice original example. I really don’t think it would require much if any effort to be a usable piece. This is a very hard to find Marsh Size BB boiler feed water pump for a stationary or traction steam engine. It is in excellent as found condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs that I can see or know of. It is about 17 1/2 inches long and about 15 inches tall. It mounts on a 4 1/2 x 6 inch hole pattern. It will likely need to be taken apart and new leather cups installed but this would be very straightforward. These old Marsh pumps made by American Steam Pump Company are exceedingly tough to find in the wild or even at swap meets so if you’ve been looking for one for an authentic restoration here’s a pretty decent one.
