This is a real nice original engine cart or truck that was used under several companies engines including Associated, Hercules, Economy, and many others. It would work great under most any engine from about 1-3 horsepower. It is in excellent condition as can be seen and rolls very nicely. There are no cracks, breaks, or repairs that I can see or know of except one wheel has two cracked spokes right by the hub. This won’t affect it’s performance at all but I wanted to point it out. The original handle is in near perfect shape as well. This cart has a great amout of original red paint on it and there’s much more to be found after a little more cleaning. It would look great under an original engine! The 1 3/4 inch angle iron rails are 10 1/4 inches apart at the outsides and 33 inches long. They could easily be altered in width to accommodate your engine. The wheels are 8 1/2 inches in diameter with a 2 inch face and the axles are about 24 inches long. I can deliver this cart for free to LeSueur, MN, Baraboo, WI, Portland, IN, or Coolspring, PA, later this year or next year. It can stay here as long as needed as long as it’s paid for. This is a very hard to fine original factory cart or truck for a 6hp Fairbanks Morse Z gas engine. It would work great under most any engine from about 3-6 horsepower. It is in excellent condition as can be seen and rolls very nicely. There are no cracks, breaks, or repairs that I can see or know of. At some point in its life someone welded additional steel onto the rails and there is remnants of weld still on the edges of them but this would be easy enough to remove and blend. The original handle is in excellent condition as well. The angle iron rails are 13 3/4 inches apart at the outsides and 40 inches long. They could easily be altered in width to accommodate your engine. The wheels are 14 inches in diameter with a 3 inch face. The solid axles are about 34 inches long. I can deliver this cart for free to LeSueur, MN, Baraboo, WI, Portland, IN, or Coolspring, PA, later this year or next year. It can stay here as long as needed as long as it’s paid for. This is a rather hard to find 2hp Independent Harvester or Monmouth hit and miss gas engine. It is mostly complete with the exception of the magneto and a muffler. It has a few old repairs but ran the way it is. It has some compression even after sitting a few years. It has a repaired connecting rod, governor weight bracket, rocker arm, and ignitor bracket. The repair on the ignitor is hard to notice. Also, the pulley side of the hopper has been JB welded back in and could be dressed up pretty easily before a paint job. All in all this should be a pretty worth winter project. Independent engines don’t come along that often and this one is nearly all there to work with. This is a rather scarce if not rare original 1hp Monitor farm engine made by the Baker Manufacturing Company in Evansville, Wisconsin. It is the early version with the canteen style gas tank and spark plug straight up. It is in excellent original condition and retains a large portion of it’s original paint as can be seen. It has very little wear on the gearing or in the bearings. It turns over nicely with good compression and although I haven’t run it I’m sure it won’t take much to make noise. The flywheel has a chipped crank holder as I’ve pointed out and the intake valve cage has a crack through one of the mounting holes. Neither of these issues will affect the engine running but I wanted to point them out. Included in the sale is a replacement flywheel with a good crank holder and also a valve cage if you’d like to replace them. This is a VERY hard to find original box for a John Deere tractor loader. It is in excellent condition and has been on a shelf in a closet or in a garage unused since the toy was taken out of it when it was new. This was likely in the 1960′s or 1970′s. It has great color and only minor soiling and discoloration commonly found on boxes like this that are over 40 years old! ANTIQUE PICKERING FLY BALL GOVERNOR Very nice antique 2 Pickering fly ball governor in good useable condition with no serious damage (driven pulley has two chips) and no repairs. The valve throw adjuster works, as does the valve tension device, and what looks like some sort of override also functions as it should. The horizontal shaft/bushing is showing some wear, mainly on the out board end, and no doubt in the direction of the drive belt tension (the wear is mostly horizontal). This old beauty spins easily by hand and the springs are good. Plenty of grease and grime but I do believe this one could be pressed back into service if the need is there. I personally have never seen one this complete or damage free. Half inch bolts are 2 3/4″ on center, brass valve is 2″ in diameter and the unit from top of base to top of governor is 22 1/2. For your consideration is this original antique Waters fly ball steam engine governor. This was obtained from a large farm estate, I have not cleaned this, its truly farm fresh. The governor is marked Waters 2 Boston. The gears seem to turn smoothly despite some grime and surface corrosion. If you need a better picture or close up of a part, please ask. It seems to be in very solid condition but will obviously need some oiling/work if you want to use this again. Not sure what is missing but what you see is included with the governor. It measures about 23.5″ from top to bottom, and the opening at the base is 2 1/4″. The three flyballs are about 3 1/4 in diameter each. If you need other measurements, please ask. A great governor to fix up and put to use again. Will sell with no reserve. This governor weighs 57 lbs on its own. Designed by NASCAR Goody’s Dash Champion Robert Huffman. Display Storage for 2 Hit n’ Miss Engines on Cart Trucks. Or the display storage could hold other John Deere items and equipment for show and parade. Holds 3 Children Parade Riders on back, or 2 Adults. 4 Storage Compartments with Doors and Large 42 Deep Bays. Ready for Display, Show and Parade. This wagon was designed and came from the. Heart of NASCAR country in NC and is referred to in NASCAR circles as a “War Wagon” This War Wagon was co-designed by Robert Huffman – the NASCAR Goody’s Dash 5 Time Champion from Claremont, NC. The War Wagon was co-fabricated by Robert Huffman and the Nash family in NC. The War Wagon hauls 2 John Deere Series E or other type Hit-and-Miss Motor Engines. These engines were built by John Deere starting in the mid-1920′s. And 1930′s for many purposes such as grinding feed, pumping water, saw mills and for many other uses on the farm. In recent years we’ve even heard old timers tell they were used to help manufacture moonshine in the south. They are really simple to work-on and to run. They had an unusual sound and can be seen at many County Fairs, Tractor and Engine shows making ice cream. Both of these units have been featured in magazines of which I have some copies. The dimensions on this parade wagon are 101″ long on the main box unit with the front tong extending another 36″. The width is 43 wide. It has room and seat belts in back to hold two people or children that may want to ride in back there for a parade… Or to keep an eye out for the Feds if you happen to be transporting any shine in one of the big four compartments. Beside the flag holders on top (flags included) there is also a pole mount on front for a large flag. Tires are like new. This war wagon was very well designed and even includes custom made ramps to easily roll-in and roll-out both engines on their carts. A picture above shows one metal ramp hooked in like you would do on both ramps when unloading. Blocks with cotter pins securely hold any engine inside and any cart has their own tracks so they can roll right on or off the wagon when needed. For your consideration is this original antique Pickering fly ball steam engine governor. This was obtained from a large farm estate, I have not cleaned this, its truly farm fresh. The governor is marked Pickering Governor Co Portland, Conn on one side, and the other is marked Shaft Rev 430. The number 406775B follows. It is also marked Pat Oct 15 07. The gears seem to turn smoothly despite some grime and surface corrosion. If you need a better picture or close up of a part, please ask. It seems to be in very solid condition but will obviously need some oiling/work if you want to use this again. It measures about 20.5″ from top to bottom, and the base has about a 5.5″ diameter. The three flyballs are about 2.5 in diameter each. If you need other measurements, please ask. A great governor to fix up and put to use again. Will sell with no reserve.
