Here is an original goose neck igniter trip small Associated hit and miss engine. It is probably correct for a Chore Boy or Hired Man or Hired Hand engine. It will need a new spring for the trip finger. The main casting has a small hole that is a casting flaw and it will not hurt anything. Please take a look at the pictures and decide if you need it! Mounts on 3/4 tall push rod. Please check the measurements and pictures to make sure it will work on your engine. Most items will go out faster though. I have many good parts and pieces I will be listing in the next few months. I try to do a very good job of listing everything I sell in a very accurate manner to explain all the good and bad points with the pictures and in the description. So if someone doesn’t pay I will ban them from my listings and also tell all my friends who also sell engine parts on here who to watch out for. If you haven’t caught on this is supposed to be mildly funny but yet serious at the same time. If you decide you don’t want it or find another one cheaper you I won’t take it back. Barn fresh just the way we like to find them! Early Waterloo-built 1 1/2hp United engine. In good shape with no cracks, breaks, or repairs that I can see other than the rocker stand which I believe is available as a reproduction. Turns over nicely even after sitting for decades. Has what I believe is the original gas tank in the box and is on the original skids. Some original paint showing with much more hiding under the grease and oil. Engine will need a mechanical restoration as a few things are worn but will be a very straightforward project. Engine last ran in the early 1960′s to pump water for cattle per previous owner. Not many survivors like this left to be found! I can deliver for free (or a cold beverage) to Coolspring, PA, later this month. It can stay here as long as needed as long as it’s paid for. This is a 4 bolt magneto bracket for a Associated or United engine. It is missing its gear. If you have a repaired bracket like this one of your engines just switch out the gear and you would have a perfect setup. Missing gear, the shaft the gear goes one looks excellent and is 5/8 in diameter. The mag mounting holes are 2-3/4″ x 2-3/4″ apart on center. The mounting holes to the engine are 1-3/4 apart on center. The push rod slot is 3/4. It is part number DVE. No cracks, breaks, or welds. Most items will go out faster though. Vintage Scale Model United Air-Cooled Gas Engine. This engine has 6-inch flywheels and is machined from mostly cast iron and brass. It turns over and has compression and spark. It appears to be set up to run on propane although I have not run it. Engine looks to be complete; I don’t see any cracks or damage; there is some play in the crank bushings. Cosmetically: paint is faded and has chips, light surface rust and blemishes from age. (Battery and propane not included). VintageScale Model United Air Cooled Gas Engine. Circa: mid 1970′s. The engine has 6-inch flywheels and is machined from cast iron, brass and zink. It has compression and good spark. Some play in the main crank bearings, it may need new bushings. The engine is setup to run on propane, now that’s pretty handy at the show! It has a bottle hookup, a low pressure regulator? A pressure gauge and. The lines that run directly into the carb. The whole setup fits into the bottom box- including propane, battery and coil. Note: Battery and propane bottle not included. I have no idea if this setup works, this is how I bought it. This engine was made a long time ago, and looks to have been run a lot. It appears to be complete and in over-all good shape. I don’t see any cracks or damage. It does have faded and chipped paint, with surface rust and blemishes and over-all wear that would be expected with age and use. Please review the pictures carefully, since they are also part of the description. If you have a question please don’t hesitate to ask.
