Head for 1 3/4 HP Associated Chore Boy / United Hit Miss Engines. Head is in good original condition. Rocker Arm part No. The mounting hole pattern is 3 7/16″ x 3 7/16″ measured from closest hole to next closest hole on center. The carb mounts with 2 holes about 2 1/8 apart on center. 1 pipe for exhaust. Seat will need to be ground smooth. No cracks, breaks, or welds that I’m aware or can see. Here is a very nice United Engine Co friction magneto. It is in great shape, looks like it has been rebuilt. I hooked it up to a 12 volt battery and it spun just as it should. Please check out the pictures and see if you need it. For questions 419 789 1159. SPECIAL NOTE: This is friction type generator. This mag is meant to be used with a coil. It is not meant to be able to start an engine but is meant to take the place of the batteries once the engine is running. It in itself will not produce a spark that will jump an air gap. Looks to be rebuilt. Mounts with 2 holes about 4-5/8 apart on center. No bearing wear can be felt. About 9-1/4″, and is about 5-1/2″ tall. Weighs about 12-1/2 lbs before any box or packing materials. I think I list items very accurately but my opinion on condition may differ from yours. In my opinion this is a great magneto. If you have any questions about how to use it on your engine please ask. Here is a hard to find cast iron 1-1/4 fuel mixer. I think it is original for a United or Arcadia engine, possibly others. The needle valve isn’t perfect but should work fine. The air valve has the normal amount of wear for this style carb, I think it should also work fine. The top mounting threads are in great shape. The threads in the choke area would need cleaned up with a tap but those are never used anyways. Check out the pictures and see if you need it. For questions 419 789 1159. Hard size to find!
