Here is a intake valve cage for a small Brownwall engine. Seems to be in great shape. The valve has a small amount of wear that will not hurt a thing. Check out the pictures and see if you need it. For a 1hp Brownwall engine. The raised part in the mounting area is 1-3/8 in diameter. The overall diameter of the mounting area is about 2-7/8. This is a VERY hard to find crosshead water pump and check valve for a Huber steam traction engine. According to an astute Ebayer it should be for a 25/30hp Huber traction engine and it may fit others. The pump as a “Z328″ part number. It is about 20 inches long overall and mounts with two holes 4 9/16 inches apart on center. It is in good condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs that I can see or know of and the piston rod moves as it should. The check valve is in nice shape with all of the internals inside. It has 1″ npt female threads on the bottom, 1″ npt female threads on one leg, and 1 1/4npt male threads on the other leg going into the pump. The body of the check valve measures about 12 inches tall. \This pump is a very nice original example. I really don’t think it would require much if any effort to be a usable piece. It would also make a great spare on the shelf. These original pumps are almost impossible to find in. The wild or even at swap meets so don’t miss your chance one this one. This is a very nice original and VERY hard to find brass check valve for a steam pump of some kind. I don’t know exactly what engine it is for and may fit several so if you know please educate me. It is in excellent condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs that I can see or know or. It is complete with the dome, tail nuts, and all of the internals are inside. It is marked on a flat “Buckeye Brass Works”. It has 3/4″ npt male threads in both places and has “4031 in raised numbers on the body. The body measures about 12 inches tall. This is a very nice original example. If you need one for any reason this one should serve the purpose. It would also make a great spare on the shelf. These original brass check valves are almost impossible to find in. The wild or even at swap meets so don’t miss your chance one this one. The pictures tell the story.
