This is an original governor detent pivot for a Monitor VJ pumping hit and miss gas engine. It may fit other models so please do your homework to be sure it fits your application. It fits on a 5/16 pivot pin. It is about 1 1/4 inches thick through the hole and about 4 3/16 inches tall overall. It is in excellent used condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs of any kind and is ready to go to work! If yours is broken, missing, or repaired as many or them are here’s a chance at a nice one. It would also make a great spare on the shelf. The pictures tell the story. This is a very hard to find original exhaust valve cage and valve for an 8-Cycle Aermotor hit and miss gas engine. It has a part number of Z138 and is in excellent condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs of any kind. The valve looks to be in good shape and moves as it should. It may work the way it is or it may need some minor lapping. The assembly mounts with two holes 2 7/8 inches apart on center. Please measure your engine to be sure it works for your application. These original Aermotor parts are quite tough to find in the wild or even at swap meets! If you’ve been looking for one to complete a restoration or to replace your broken or repaired one here’s your chance. The pictures tell the story. It would surely beat making one! For your consideration is an original 8 Cycle Aermotor Exhaust Valve Housing Z136 with valve. The 3/4 NPT threads are in good condition. The valve moves and is spring loaded as it should with a little play that shouldn’t effect it’s usage. The valve may need lapped in to make a better seal. It’s in original patina.
