For your consideration, is an original Galloway Head with number AB10 cast into it for a hit miss or stationary engine. The 1/2″ mounting holes are 5-1/4″ on center, the raised portion in the center for the cylinder is 3-13/16 diameter. It has new valves included with it, they will need cut to size and keepers and springs installed which didn’t come with it so I don’t have them. There’s a little wear on the area where the pushrod slides. The 1NPT threads are good in the intake port. The exhaust guide is cracked which can be drilled and a new guide inserted or just used as is. The seats may need touched up, but you be the judge on that. There doesn’t appear to be any threads left in the exhaust port but I was able to hand thread a 1 NPT pipe fitting in still and it was snug. It’s in original patina. For your consideration is an original HEAD with VALVES for 2-1/2hp & 3-1/2hp HERCULES or ECONOMY Hit Miss, Old stationary Gas Engines. It has a 1″NPT intake port and 1-1/4″ NPT exhaust port which have good threads, there is a small mark in the exhaust thread but it won’t effect sealing. The rocker arm stands have not been repaired as can be seen in the pics, and neither has the pushrod guide. The head does have a crack on the top side which is hard to notice. The valves & seats may need lapped, both are moving. The mounting bolts are about 3-1/4 apart on centers. About 6-7/8 diameter outside head circle. It has blue green paint on it paint. Looks to be complete. Turns over with compression. Has exposed valves like a hit and miss engine. I think this is from the 20′s/30′s and was designed to charge batteries that were used to power homes before electricity was available to everyone. Great patina and over condition. Here is an original head with valves for a 6hp John Deere E gas engine. It appears that it has probably been repaired but it looks really nice. Please see the area that my fingers are pointing to. This head came off a running engine that had been dropped, it should be ready to use. Please take a look at the pictures and see if you need it. Has been repaired but looks great. Should be ready to use. The valves and seats look and feel great, very little wear. 5-1/2″ x 5-1/2″ Mounting Pattern. Weighs 25 lbs before box and packing material. For questions 419 789 1159. Here is a very nice head for a 1hp to a 2hp Hercules or Economy hit and miss engine. The valves and seats look and feel good. Check out the pictures and see if you need it. Fits a 1hp to 2hp Hercules or Economy hit and miss engines. 3/4″ carb hole, 1″ exhaust hole. The mounting bolts are about 2-9/16 apart from the next closest one on center. The valves feel good in their guides. The valve heads and seats look good. I would used some lapping compound on them before installing the head though. Thanks for looking at this listing!
