For sale is a beautifully finished paul breisch running model of an associated “hired man” hit & miss engine. I had originally bought this for my father as a birthday gift but decided to give him something else instead. I have never tried to run it – it was always displayed. I believe the only thing you would need to run it would be a battery and a standard coil. As you can see from the pictures, it already has a very nicely built gas tank and filter connected to the stand. It also has a very neat crank handle to start the engine. It has good compression, and appears to have been run at least once. I do not know who made it, but it is a first class machining and finishing job. Again from the pictures, you can see many neat details the builder has added, such as various oiling points with brass turn caps. I do not think anything is missing from this engine – please look at all pictures to confirm this. There is a large “b” cast into the side of the block. The photos pretty well tell the condition of the engine. It is mounted on a nice piece of wood. Here are some of the dimensions. Engine – 5″ wide, 5″ tall, & 9 long. Flywheels – are approximately 4″ in diameter x 1/2″ wide. Wood base – is approximately 9″ x 3-3/4″ x 1 thick. Please let me know if you have any questions or need more pictures. The item “Miniature Hit and Miss Model Engine Gas Paul Breisch Associated Hired Man Vintag” is in sale since Sunday, April 05, 2015.
