Brass Flat Glass #2 Oiler for Hit Miss Engine. 15, 1885 / Aug. Oiler is in good condition and ready to use. 5 1/2 tall tip to tip. 2″ H x 2″ D. Sight glass has a small chip in one corner, but will not affect the use. Very hard oiler to come by. Condition: Overall in great condition for the age. I apologize for any inconvenience. Please feel free to call me with questions. My parts inventory has grown out of control, so set a reminder to check back frequently for new listings! If you don’t see a part you need listed, good chance I just haven’t gotten around to it yet, so just check with me. THIS SIGN HAS AWESOME GRAPHICS OF A DIE-CUT OLD TIME INTERNATIONAL HARVESTER HIT AND MISS ENGINE WHICH WERE VERY POPULAR ON FARMS BACK IN THE DAY. THIS DIE-CUT SIGN ADVERTISES FOR 2.3 HORSEPOWER ENGINES AND 5 HORSEPOWER ENGINES. YOU COULD USE THE BELTS ON THIS ENGINE TO DO MANY TASKS ON THE FARM SUCH AS WASH CLOTHES, SHUCK CORN, PUMP OUT A WELL ETC. THESE GRAPHICS ARE RARE AND SELDOM SEEN AND ARE SOME OF MY FAVORITE ALONG WITH THE VERY HEAVY OVER 7 OUNCES OF DIE-CUT PORCELAIN AND YOU HAVE A GREAT PIECE OF ADVERTISING. THIS IS A HARD TO FIND SIGN IN THIS CONDITION AND DOES SHOW LIGHT WEAR AND USE BUT HAS AMAZING COLOR AND GLOSS. THIS SIGN HAS 2 HOLES FOR HANGING AND IS MADE OF HEAVY DIE-CUT PORCELAIN. Vintage Maytag Engine Model 92 Motor 1934 Single Hit Miss Runs Great! Here is a nice original Maytag 92. I believe this one was made in 1934. This starts easy and runs great. It has a new spark plug and plug wire, as well as a custom wood base. It does leak a little gas around the carb when running, but it looks like it just needs a new gasket. As you can see, a thrifty previous owner repaired the starter cover/kickstart. I think its pretty ingenious and it seems to work just fine. I have left this engine in its work clothes as far as refinishing, because I think that may be traces of original paint. You can choose wether youd like to restore it further. I own several of these Maytags in my collection, and they are a great hobby. This would look great at an engine show, or just have it to teach the grandkids about history!
