Up for sale is a very nice restored Maytag Model 92 11-111, Antique hit miss Gas Engine. The flywheel has serial # 769141 stamped on it so it was in production Feb 1937. Painted with original Maytag green automotive paint. The skids you see under my motors go with the engine. I have been restoring these engines for over 10 years. This engine was completely taken apart and SAND blasted BEAD blasted cleaned and painted the original Maytag green paint. I take a lot of pride in these motors as you can see and I like to do a little extra detailing such as the lettering and the numbers as you can see in the pictures. I think it makes the motor’s stand out better. Lot of guys likes to copy my work so I have a trade mark that I can only tell that it is one that I had done. I do not use any junk parts on my motors. As you can see this engine is complete and not missing any parts such as the pulley and air filter. It has new rings, condenser, spark plug and plug wire with new ends. I also honed out the Cylinder jug and carburetor is completely rebuilt with all new parts. This engine has been restored and freshly painted and the fuel tank and top plate was sealed so it will not rust again. I do not paint the flywheels like some people I just polish them up nice. After putting it all back together I ran three tanks of fuel through it and it runs just fine. I like to run my engines that much so I know it will run great and help seat the rings a little for you. Then I put on a set of real nice WATER TRANSFER DECAL that I had made and sell. NOT those NASTY sticky fly by night cheap decals. The coil is good and has hot nice spark. I have a lot of people will send me a motor to restore for them as well. All it needs now is fuel and you can start it with your hand, it is that easy to start. No breaks cracks or welds. 1930′s Maytag Model 31 Engine Motor Hit Miss Wringer Washer. Owner said motor runs good. We put it in grain bin (storage), mice chewed previous owners starting instructions see photo with I. Tag atrached to motor. We are not planning on testing this motor but it will be considered very good condition. Knowing the previous owner and his attention to detail and skill in mechanics of every sort, this motor is likely to be a good runner, but its been in storage for one year and one never knows until its in the buyers hands and ready to use. The skids you see under my motors go with the engine. I have been restoring these engines for over 10 years. I also restore Maytag wringer washers and put Maytag motor’s on them as well. This engine was completely taken apart and SAND blasted BEAD blasted cleaned and painted the original Maytag green paint. I take a lot of pride in these motors as you can see and I like to do a little extra detailing such as the lettering and the numbers as you can see in the pictures. I think it makes the motor’s stand out better. Lot of guys likes to copy my work so I have a trade mark that I can only tell that it is one that I had done. I put on new kill switch, new rings, and spark plug and plug wire. I also honed out the Cylinder jug and carburetor is completely rebuilt with all new parts. It does have a small piece broken off top fin but not uncommon for that on these. I do not paint the flywheels like some people I just polish them up nice. All my carburetor’s get rebuilt with all new and correct parts. Now I have been trying to get engine to start but have not had any luck doing so. I try for a while then work on something else. Who ever gets it they must let me know what the problem was so I would like to know.. I will start packing the engine and it takes about 5 days to pack it. Thank you for looking. Up for sale is very first Maytag fruit jar engine that I have ever seen or owned in my life. I don’t know nothing about this engine it does have a older restoration on it and looks to be with spray can paint. I was able to get it to run. I have been told there is a lot of reproduction engine’s around but I would have no clue on what to look for anyways. I found this one and of course I had to own it. Does have end play on the flywheel so I would say it would need new bearings but I didn’t hear it when it ran. Guys can contact me with questions and I will try my best to answer them the best I can.
