Magneto is in good condition and ready to use. Webster JY 2 bar magnet. HOT – throws a nice blue spark and magnets charged. Bolt pattern 2 7/16″ X 2 13/16″. One of the threads has been repaired with heli-coil and one mounting stud is cracked – this crack should not affect the use – no other breaks, cracks, or welds that I can see. Please feel free to call me with questions. My parts inventory has grown out of control, so set a reminder to check back frequently for new listings! Bracket is for a 2 1/2HP Sandwich engine I believe, may fit a couple other sizes as well. Please research before purchasing. Has a weld REPAIR! Will need new springs. The little trip roller is stuck. Points shaft is not stuck. The 2 mounting holes measure 2 5/8 on centers. The magneto mount hole spacing is 2″ x 2″ on centers. This item will require a little work before being able to be put to use. See pictures for the absolute best description.

Here is a Webster Type 1 E Magneto. It seems to be in pretty nice shape. It has no wear in the bearing area. It makes a nice hot spark. The wire clip can spin around a little bit, that may or may not be a problem at some point. Please take a look at the pictures and decide if you need it. For questions 419 789 1159. The mounting holes are about 2-3/8 apart on center. The wire terminal can spin around. This is a low tension magneto meant to work with an igniter. It will not produce a spark that will jump an air gap no matter who tells you it will or how close you hold the wire to ground.. It makes a spark that can be seen when the igniter points open. Most items will go out faster though. I have many good parts and pieces I will be listing in the next few months. I try to do a very good job of listing everything I sell in a very accurate manner to explain all the good and bad points with the pictures and in the description. So if someone doesn’t pay I will ban them from my listings and also tell all my friends who also sell engine parts on here who to watch out for. This is an original Webster magneto ignitor bracket for an Associated, United, Ottawa, or other hit and miss gas engine. It should fit all sizes of the Associated/United and also Ottawa engines but please measure your engine to be sure it will work for you. It is bracket number 303K62 and seems to be in good shape with no cracks, breaks, or repairs that I can see or know of. It needs a new roller but these are readily available or you may have on in stock already. The points are in great shape and the movable shaft has very little noticeable wear and moves as it should. It mounts with two holes 2 inches apart on center and the magneto mounts on a 2 x 2 inch hole pattern. After the addition of a roller and some very minor attention this should be a good, usable ignitor. If you need an Associated, United, or Ottawa ignitor bracket for any reason here is a pretty nice one. The pictures tell the story. It would also make a great spare on the shelf.

This is an original Webster JZ low tension magneto for a hit and miss or throttle governed gas engine. The JZ was used on the vertical IHC Famous (with a correct trip finger) and 4hp horizontal Famous/Titan engines. It was also used on several other engines. It is in great shape with no cracks, breaks, or repairs that I can see or know of other than some rust pitting on top of the magnets and deterioration on the name band which are strictly cosmetic. It has newer springs on it and almost no noticeable wear in the bearings or on the trip finger. It mounts on a 2 3/16 x 2 13/16 inch hole pattern. The magnets have just been recharged and this magneto puts out a very hot spark that is ready to run an engine if set up properly. If you need a brass JZ magneto for any reason here is a pretty nice one. The pictures tell the story. It would also make a great spare on the shelf.

HOT Webster Type K Low Tension Magneto. Webster Type K low tension magneto. Pot metal body with new tag. Flip type mag with 2 bars. Bench tested – HOT with test light. 4 bolt mounting 2″ x 2″. The studs look good – one stud is a little shorter but will not affect the use. Please feel free to call me with questions. My parts inventory has grown out of control, so set a reminder to check back frequently for new listings! If you don’t see a part you need listed, good chance I just haven’t gotten around to it yet, so just check with me. Like I said, I have been doing this a long time and try to list everything accurately and to provide a detailed explanation of the item, both good and the bad. Here is a Webster JY brass body magneto. It has only minimal wear and it makes a nice hot spark. It is missing the trip catch block and a spring. One of the mounting studs is slightly bend and the one spring holder is slightly bent. Its not perfect but with a little work it can be a great mag! Please take a look at the pictures and decide if you need it. For questions 419 789 1159. The mounting pattern is about 2-27/32″ x 2-7/16″. Armature spins freely with springs off, no armature drag. Only very minimal wear. Missing trip catch block and a spring. One mounting stud is slightly bent. One spring holder is slightly bent. This is a low tension magneto meant to work with an igniter. It will not produce a spark that will jump an air gap no matter who tells you it will or how close you hold the wire to ground.. It makes a spark that can be seen when the igniter points open. Most items will go out faster though. I have many good parts and pieces I will be listing in the next few months. I try to do a very good job of listing everything I sell in a very accurate manner to explain all the good and bad points with the pictures and in the description. So if someone doesn’t pay I will ban them from my listings and also tell all my friends who also sell engine parts on here who to watch out for.
