Webster Magneto and Bracket. Magneto is in good condition and ready to use. Webster JZ Type 4. This is a large HEAVY Webster magneto. Throws a nice blue spark. 4 Bolt pattern 2 1/4 X 2 7/8. Threads all look good. 1/2 diameter locator pin included. Nice original part, came off a running engine. Condition: The bracket has been repaired along the roller arm. One of the corners of the brass bottom has a small chip – see photos. Two of the thread holes have been repaired with epoxy – see photos. Band at top has been replaced. Here is a nice Webster K magneto. It is very hot and in great shape. It is very tight, only a very minimal amount of wear. It spins freely with the springs off just as it should. Please take a look at the pictures and decide if you need it. If you have any questions 419 789 1159. SPECIAL NOTE: This is a low tension magneto, it is meant to work with an igniter and will not produce at spark that will jump an air gap. It will not work with a spark plug. The spark it produces can be observed by rubbing a wire from the terminal against the case of the mag while turning the shaft. It does have to be timed to the engine. 2″ x 2″ mounting pattern. All the studs are in great shape and are tight in their holes. Only a very minimal amount of wear. Spins freely with the springs off. I think I list items very accurately but my opinion on condition may differ from yours. In my opinion this is a great magneto. If you have any questions about how to use it on your engine please ask. Don’t be a clown and tear it all apart and then try to return it when you can’t get it to work. Thanks for looking at this listing!
