This is a rather hard to find original Webster magneto ignitor bracket for a Stover hit and miss or throttle governed gas engine. It is bracket number 303K25 and is in excellent condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs of any kind. It has almost no wear and appears to have been used very little and everything works as it should. It mounts with two holes 3 inches apart on center and the magneto mounts on a 2 x 2 inch square pattern. The points are like new and this bracket is ready to go to work on an engine! The pictures tell the story. These original Stover Webster ignitors are quite tough to find so if you’ve been looking for one don’t miss your chance on this one. Original, unmolested, barn fresh early 5hp Economy Model E hit and miss engine. No cracks, breaks, or repairs that I can see or know of other than a chip on the leadout cover on the mag. Mag base needs attention to three of the mounting holes but it does have great spark. The head on the engine is in good shape. It has the original muffler, pulley and the gas tank appears very solid. Turns over nicely with great compression and shouldn’t take much to make noise but I haven’t tried it. Some original paint and more to be found under the grease. I can deliver for free (or a cold beverage) to Portland, IN, Coolspring PA, or Baraboo, WI, later this year. It can stay here as long as needed as long as it’s paid for. Webster magneto for Hit Miss Gas Engine. Magneto is in good condition and ready to use. Goes to spark plug. Very hard to find mag that is HOT. Cover that goes over points is there but is broken. 2 1/4″ x 2 1/4″ on centers mounting. Could fit multiple engines. Please feel free to call me with questions. Here is a very nice brass body Webster K magneto. It produces a very nice hot spark and only has a very minimal amount of wear. I had a machinist friend of mine replace one of the studs and install new coils in it. Please take a look at the pictures and decide if you need it. SPECIAL NOTE: This is a low tension magneto, it is meant to work with an igniter and will not produce at spark that will jump an air gap. It will not work with a spark plug. The spark it produces can be observed by rubbing a wire from the terminal against the case of the mag while turning the shaft. It does have to be timed to the engine. 2″ x 2″ mounting pattern. All the mounting studs are in great shape and tight in their hole. Only a very minimal amount of wear. This mag is ready to start and run your engine. I think I list items very accurately but my opinion on condition may differ from yours. In my opinion this is a great magneto. If you have any questions about how to use it on your engine please ask. Don’t be a clown and tear it all apart and then try to return it when you can’t get it to work. Thanks for looking at this listing! Here is a 303K147 Webster magneto igniter bracket for a DesJardins gas engine. Please take a look at the pictures and see if you need it. No cracks, breaks, or welds, that I can see or know of. Only very minimal wear can be felt in the movable electrode. Uses a taper instead of a gasket, that taper goes from about 1-15/16″ to 2-7/64″. There is a roller that movable electrode spring attaches to, that roller seems worn but it should hurt the operation at all. Uses a K or L magneto with the 2″ x 2″ mounting pattern. Mounts to the engine with two holes 3-1/16 apart on center. I try to list items very accurately but my opinions on condition may differ from yours. Most items will go out faster though. I have many good parts and pieces I will be listing in the next few months. I try to do a very good job of listing everything I sell in a very accurate manner to explain all the good and bad points with the pictures and in the description. So if someone doesn’t pay I will ban them from my listings and also tell all my friends who also sell engine parts on here who to watch out for.
