HOT Webster Type AL Low Tension Magneto. Webster Type “L” low tension magneto. Pot Metal Body with brass tag. Flip type mag with 3 bars. Bench tested – HOT with 12v test light. 4 bolt mounting 2 1/16″ x 2 1/16″. The threads look good, but the mounting studs are slightly bent – please see all of the photos. Part is loose with no cracks, breaks or welds that I can see. Mounts to engine with two holes approx. 2 11/16 apart on center. Mag mounting is 1 1/2″ x 2″ 4 bolt pattern for “M” magneto. Here is a Webster K magneto. It makes an excellent spark. The bearings have only very minimal or no wear. The original 1/4″ studs have been replaced with 5/16″ ones. That means it will not fit on a stock bracket unless it gets drilled out. There is some cracking in the case around 2 of the studs. All of the studs fit tight in their holes. Please take a look at the pictures and decide if you need it. For questions 419 789 1159. Model K, Serial No. Very tight bearings, only very minimal or no wear. The mounting pattern is about 2″ x 2″. All studs fit tight in their holes but they are bigger than they should be. Some cracking by 2 of the studs. Ready to use but it will not fit a stock bracket since the studs are 5/16″ instead of 1/4″. This is a low tension magneto meant to work with an igniter. It will not produce a spark that will jump an air gap no matter who tells you it will or how close you hold the wire to ground.. It makes a spark that can be seen when the igniter points open. Most items will go out faster though. I have many good parts and pieces I will be listing in the next few months. I try to do a very good job of listing everything I sell in a very accurate manner to explain all the good and bad points with the pictures and in the description. So if someone doesn’t pay I will ban them from my listings and also tell all my friends who also sell engine parts on here who to watch out for. Here is a Webster L magneto. It makes an excellent spark. The bearings have a little bit of normal wear but that will not hurt a thing. The armature spins freely with the springs off, good magnetic pull can be felt when doing that. The rear bearing plate is a little chipped out in the oil hole area, that is a common thing and will not hurt the way it works. Please take a look at the pictures and decide if you need it. For questions 419 789 1159. The mounting pattern is about 2″ x 2″. All of the mounting studs are tight in their holes. Has a little normal bearing wear. The armature spins freely with the springs off just as it should. Strong magnetic pull can be felt when turning the armature. This is a low tension magneto meant to work with an igniter. It will not produce a spark that will jump an air gap no matter who tells you it will or how close you hold the wire to ground.. It makes a spark that can be seen when the igniter points open. Most items will go out faster though. I have many good parts and pieces I will be listing in the next few months. I try to do a very good job of listing everything I sell in a very accurate manner to explain all the good and bad points with the pictures and in the description. If you haven’t caught on this is supposed to be mildly funny but yet serious at the same time. If you decide you don’t want it or find another one cheaper you I won’t take it back. Here is an original Webster igniter bracket for an Associated or United engine. It is in great shape. There is little or no wear in the moveable electrode area. It will need a new trip roller. The spring that holds the moveable electrode back is missing but that is a simple thing that could be bought at a hardware store. Check out the pictures and see if you need it. For questions 419 789 1159. Mounts to the engine with 2 holes 2 apart on center. Take a Webster K or L magneto with a 2″ x 2″ bolt pattern. No cracks, breaks, or welds.
