This is a pair of original governor weights for a Gade hit and miss gas engine at least I’m pretty sure they’re Gade… If not please educate me! They are in great shape with no cracks, breaks, or repairs of any kind. There is one casting flaw that doesn’t affect anything. The governor weights are about 6 long and about 1 1/2 inches in diameter. They are about 4 1/4 inches deep. The leg that goes into the governor collar is about 2 1/8 inches long with a 5/16″ pivot hole and is about 5/8″ thick. The pictures tell the story. These original parts are quite tough to find so if you’ve been looking for some don’t miss your chance on these. They would also make great spares on the shelf.

This is the top end of a fairly large Judson steam engine governor. It is as found from an early collector’s estate. The top assembly, weights, linkages, and gear look to be in good used condition. It measures about 8 1/2 inches tall and 9 inches in “diameter”. It was broken off of the body of the governor but these are still great parts if you need them to complete another governor. Here is a pair of governor weights and brackets for a small Associated or United engine. Take a look at the pictures, check the measurements, and decide if you need it. No Cracks, Breaks, or Welds. Only very minimal wear can be felt. DDK on the weights,,,, EWW on the brackets. Mounts to the flywheel with 2 holes about 3-1/4 apart on center. Most items will go out faster though. I have many good parts and pieces I will be listing in the next few months. I try to do a very good job of listing everything I sell in a very accurate manner to explain all the good and bad points with the pictures and in the description. So if someone doesn’t pay I will ban them from my listings and also tell all my friends who also sell engine parts on here who to watch out for. If you haven’t caught on this is supposed to be mildly funny but yet serious at the same time. If you decide you don’t want it or find another one cheaper you I won’t take it back.
