Add your own oil [Citronella] and light it up. Many of you folks have bought one, or more, of my lamps and never a complaint. These weigh 16.5lbs. Cast iron, absolutely identical to the 110 year old ones. Features complete, ready to light up as pictured, the lamp, the hard to find OWS 1877 LID , HANDLE , and WICK. You supply the oil and fire. Handle holes are drilled and handle has been inserted. A description of the original 100+ year old foundry’s blackening procedure will be included with each lamp. Not exactly sure what year it was made but it has a number stamped in the metal, may be a model or serial number “3A 5332″. Very good quality pump, these products are still around today. This is a rather unusual deep well, double reduction cast iron well pump jack made by Nelson Bros in Saginaw, Michigan. It is in good original condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs other than 2 chipped teeth that I have pointed. The teeth seem to have very little wear anywhere on them and I don’t think this jack has seen much use. It is stuck but should free up with some heat and a little elbow grease. It is marked on the back of the disc with the Nelson Bros name. It stands about 22 inches tall and would make a fantastic display piece for your early hit and miss gas engine display or working pumpjack display. Oddball pumpjacks like this hardly ever turn up in the wild or even at swap meets anymore so if you’ve been looking for one don’t miss this one. The pictures tell the story. You’ll like it!
