These old belt driven or friction drive generators or dynamos are getting tougher to find every day, so if you’ve been looking for one don’t miss your chance on this one! Wheeler Schebler belt driven or friction drive generator or auto sparker for ignition on a gasoline engine. It appears to be serial #412 stamped in the body. Three rows of double stacked magnets. Brass base – could be fitted to almost any engine. 4 hole mount measures 4 3/4″ x 4 1/4″. 4 3/4″ x 5 1/4″ x 7. Has a friction wheel. Has a spring loaded base to keep the belt tight or the friction pulley against the flywheel. Leaving with original patina. I apologize for any inconvenience. Old ALTHOUSE WHEELER Corn Grinder Burr Grain Mill Hit Miss Gas Engine Windmill

This is a really nice original Althouse Wheeler Windmill Company feed grinder or burr mill made in Waupun, Wisconsin. I know it was made or offered by them as I have one in my collection with their name inside the hopper. It is in excellent used condition with most of it’s original paint and striping! The bearings all seem to be in good shape. It turns over nicely and was used fairly recently by a previous owner who mentioned that it worked well. It stands about 41 inches tall. The hopper has been replaced with new wood but includes the original cast iron corners. There is a very well done weld repair on the shaker pan and it is missing one foot on the base. Neither of these affect its performance. There are no other cracks, breaks, or repairs that I can see or know of. This would be a great addition to your engine or tractor show display because people like seeing what these machines did! I can deliver for free to Coolspring, PA, or a few auctions later this year. I can deliver to LeSueur, MN, Baraboo, WI, Portland, IN, or Coolspring, PA, next year. It can stay here as long as needed as long as it’s paid for.
