This is a VERY hard to find original Stromberg M5 brass carburetor for and early car, truck, tractor, marine engine or other application. It is in as found condition from an old farm shop and seems to be in remarkable condition for its age. It has a 2 5/8 inch intake and a 2 3/16 opening in the flange. It mounts with two holes 3 9/16 inches apart on center. The carb will need both butterflies replaced. The choke shaft has some mild wear and the throttle shaft has a bit more wear. It should probably be ok but could easily be replaced if you so choose. The needle valve moves as it should. This carb measures about 9 inches tall overall. All in all it’s a pretty decent carburetor. These Stromberg M5 carburetors are extremely difficult to find in the wild or even at swap meets so if you’ve been looking for one don’t miss your chance on this one.
