This is an extremely hard to find original Bosch ZA1 single cylinder magneto for an early hit and miss engine, car, motorcycle, or other application. It is fresh from an old farm shop where it lived for decades. It is in good condition for its age but does have a crack in the housing that should be able to be repaired with some space age adhesive. It also has a split in the points housing that I’ve pointed out. It has one side of the base cut off but I think the base is replaceable without too much hassle. It turns over pretty nicely and has a good hot spark. It is counter or anti-clockwise rotation. This should be a pretty straightforward restoration project. These counter clockwise magnetos are not very easy to find in the wild or even at swap meets so if you need one for a project don’t miss it.
