This is a model E Economy 2 1/2 hp hit and miss gas engine, made in 1919. I have run it from time to time and ran just fine. It could use a fuel tank clean up. It has an external crack in the head which doesn’t affect it and can easily be repaired. It sits on its factory installed trucks. You see a few of these 2 1/2 hp Economy’s around but I haven’t seen any on factory trucks with this much nice original paint. I can store for a while if you need some time to line up a way to get it home. We have many rare and unusual and common Maytag and other larger hit & miss engines available!
