This is a real nice old rotary belt driven centrifugal pump. It was made by Red Jacket in Iowa and is in excellent condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs of any kind. It turns over very smoothly and would work great to move the cooling water of a large hit and miss gas engine. It stands about 9 1/2 inches tall and is about 10 inches long. The outside of the vane housing is about 8 1/2 inches in diameter. It is probably called an 8 inch pump. It mounts with four slots and has a v-belt pulley on it. This could easily be changed to a flat belt pulley if you so choose. The pipe threads are 1 1/4 and 1 1/2 inches and are in great shape. This could be a very useful pump in the hit and miss engine world, either for cooling or for a water pump display run by an engine. The pictures tell the story. I can deliver this Coolspring, PA, Baraboo, WI, or Portland, IN, engine shows later this year. It’s tough to find unusual belt driven pieces like this so don’t miss it!
