This is an original cast iron crankguard or fender for a Witte hit and miss or throttle governed gas engine. It is in excellent condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs of any kind except for some small rust holes in the round door which should be easy to repair if you so choose. It mounts with two holes 6 1/8 inches apart on center. Please measure your engine to be sure it works for your application. These cast iron crankguards are rather tough to find in the wild or even at swap meets and they’re so often missing so if you need one here’s your chance! The pictures tell the story.
