This is an original cast iron crankguard and hinge for a John Lauson or Alpha DeLaval Model W 2 1/2hp hit and miss or throttle governed gas engine. The crankguard is part number WA125B. The assembly is in excellent condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs of any kind and the guard hinges just as it should. The assembly is ready to be used on an engine! These original Lauson parts are exceedingly tough to find in the wild or even at swap meets!
