This is an original early style fuel mixer or carburetor for a 3hp Fairbanks Morse Z gas engine. It mounts to the side of the head where the throttle shaft is in the head on the earlier style engines with two holes 1 5/8 inches apart on center so do your homework to be sure it is for your application. It is in sound condition with no cracks, breats, or repairs in the body. The fuel needle moves as it should and looks good. The fuel pump plunger is stuck. The drain/fuel selector pin is deteriorated and needs to be replaced. The threads for one fuel line have a broken off nipple that needs to be removed and the other one is very nice. With a little effort this would be a nice, usable mixer. If you’ve been looking for one to complete a restoration because yours is missing, broken, or repaired here is a decent one. The pictures tell the story. This item is in the category “Business & Industrial\Light Equipment & Tools\Stationary Engines\Parts”. The seller is “flywheels4evr” and is located in this country: US.
