Bracket has a old weld repair that someone has done in the past. Looks to be a solid job and I’m sure it wouldn’t affect anything to how the engine runs. Mounting holes for a Webster magneto measure 2″ x 2″ on centers. The mounting holes that go to the engine block measure 2 3/8 on centers. I believe this bracket fits several sizes of the galloway engines. Incorrect bracket for the “round rod” Galloways though I do believe!! Points shaft moves freely and seems to have the typical wear for over a 100 year old part. Please see all pictures and keep in mind this is not a new item!!!
