Bracket has a old weld repair that someone has done in the past. Looks to be a solid job and I’m sure it wouldn’t affect anything to how the engine runs. Mounting holes for a Webster magneto measure 2″ x 2″ on centers. The mounting holes that go to the engine block measure 2 3/8 on centers. I believe this bracket fits several sizes of the galloway engines. Incorrect bracket for the “round rod” Galloways though I do believe!! Points shaft moves freely and seems to have the typical wear for over a 100 year old part. Please see all pictures and keep in mind this is not a new item!!! Here is an original Webster magneto bracket that is for a Galloway engine. It is in pretty nice shape overall. It looks like the 2 holes that mount it to the engine might have been enlarged a bit. It also may have been welded at the bottom of of the lower mounting hole. The trip roller is a little different than normal but should work fine. Take a look at the pictures and decide if you need it! For questions 419 789 1159. Only a very small mount of wear with the moveable electrode shaft. The mounting holes are 2-3/8″ apart on center to attach it to the engine, those holes are about 5/8″ in diameter. Small weld at the bottom of the lower mounting hole. Takes a Webster K or L magneto with the 2″ x 2″ mounting pattern. AS IS, what you see is what you get!! Most items will go out faster though. I have many good parts and pieces I will be listing in the next few months. I try to do a very good job of listing everything I sell in a very accurate manner to explain all the good and bad points with the pictures and in the description. Here is an original Webster magneto bracket that is for a Galloway engine. It is in excellent shape and appears to have been rebuilt. Looks like it has a new moveable shaft and new mica. This is a rather hard to find original Webster magneto ignitor bracket for a Galloway hit and miss or throttle governed gas engine. It should fit all sizes of Galloway engines but please measure your engine to be sure it will work for you. It is bracket number 303K16 and seems to be in great shape with no cracks, breaks, or repairs of any kind that I can see or know of. It mounts with two holes 2 3/8 inches apart on center and the magneto mounts on a 2 inch square hole pattern. The movable electrode moves nicely with very little wear and the points are in great shape. It needs a tension spring and an advance/retard lever tab to make it complete. These are available from several of the hobby suppliers quite inexpensively. If you need a Galloway ignitor bracket for any reason here is a pretty nice one. The pictures tell the story. Nut for the stationary electrode is missing. Mounts to engine with two holes 2 7/16 apart on center. Mag mounting is 2″ x 2″ for “K or L” magneto. Fits a 1 3/4 – 12 HP Galloway.
