This is a rather hard to find original cast iron crankshaft pinion gear for a 3hp Fairbanks Morse Z throttle governed or hit and miss gas engine. It is in good used condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs of any kind. It measures about 3 5/8 inches in diameter and has an 11/16 inch face. It has 35 teeth, all of which are in good, usable shape. It has a 1 13/16 bore for the crankshaft. This gear may also work on some of the Type T Fairbanks Morse engines but please do your homework to be sure it fits your application. If you need a gear for your engine because yours is missing, broken, or repaired here’s your chance at a very nice one. It’s ready to go to work on an engine. It would also make a great spare on the shelf. These are extremely tough to find in the wild or even at swap meets so don’t miss your chance on it. It would surely beat making one!
