This is an original Webster magneto ignitor bracket for a Waterloo or Contract hit and miss or throttle governed gas engine. It should fit all sizes of the Waterloo and Contract engines but please measure your engine to be sure it will work for you. It is bracket number 303K8 and seems to be in good shape with no cracks, breaks, or repairs that I can see or know of except that it needs a new roller and spring both of which are readily available. The points are in great shape and the movable shaft has very little noticeable wear and moves as it should. It mounts with two holes 2 1/8 inches apart on center and the magneto mounts on a 2 x 2 inch hole pattern. After the addition of a roller and some very minor attention this should be a good, usable ignitor. If you need a Waterloo or Contract ignitor bracket for any reason here is a pretty nice one. These K8 brackets are getting harder to find with each passing year so don’t miss it. The pictures tell the story. It would also make a great spare on the shelf.
