VERY nice original International Harvester Type L rotary low tension magneto. Several applications including 1 1/2hp and 3hp Type M engines with ignitor ignition, 1hp Titan/Famous and possibly others. It’s in great shape with no cracks, breaks, or repairs that I can see or know of except for a very slight crack in ear on the housing which will affect nothing. It turns over smoothly with excellent magnetic pull and puts out a very hot spark that will surely run your engine if set up properly. It mounts with two holes 2 inches apart on center and the threads are in great shape. It has a 30 tooth gear on it for the 1 1/2hp M which could be swapped out for the correct gear for your application as needed. It has the original name band on it and it’s ready to go to work on an engine or would be a great spare on the shelf for the next time you need one as they just don’t come along very often! These IHC Type L magnetos are quite tough to find especially in this condition so don’t miss your chance if you need one for any reason. Let the pictures be your guide. You’ll like it.
