This is an original cylinder head with valves for a Waterloo or contract hit and miss gas engine. I believe it is for a 4hp engine and is in good condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs that I can see or know of except for two cracks which I’ve pointed out which should be a pretty straightforward repair. It mounts on a 4″ square hole pattern and the step that goes into the cylinder is about 4 1/4″ in diameter. All of the threads are in great shape. The valves move as they should with minimal wear and may need a bit of cleaning as this head has been sitting for a while. These original parts are quite tough to find in the wild or even at swap meets! If you’ve been looking for one to complete a restoration here’s your chance. The pictures tell the story.
